"Not A Waste" is one of several Earth: Final Conflict crossovers I wrote with Power Rangers. It's entirely different in universe from "Shuttle Troubles", and a bit darker. I'm not sure I like it too much, but it and its predecessor (it's a sequel) are notable because they feature Wes married to Katie.

Okay, maybe it is a waste )

"Tough Love" was kind of written because I couldn't make sense of Alex's behaviour in the episodes up to and including "Destiny Defeated". This being Vereco, of course, there's the added complication that Wes is his clone.

My favorite line has to be the last one. I did a wonderful last line.

This is the first piece I wrote that's at all slashy, and it's more pre-slash than anything else. Would you believe that I wrote a Trip/Wes (onesided) ficlet? I sure don't. Nowadays, I concentrate on Trip/Katie, but I had to get this one out of my brain a couple of years ago.

I seem to have had a more liberal view of Xybria and Xybrians than crop up in my fics nowadays too. Hm....

(Trip shares my degree of bisexuality, too. It's interesting to look back and recognize that.)

This is, basically, a Trip/Katie fic. I think I wrote it for Mariko Azrael, one of the few people who like that pairing.

I think, as a geek, I 'get' Trip better than I do Katie, or most of the team for that matter. It's hard for me to write Katie unless I get in touch with my maternal mother hen side that seems to operate only on adults. This fic, to me, works because I was chaneling Katie better than usual (the Mother Hen instincts helped).

The Xybrian society bit is mostly from "Over The Borderline", among other fics. I see Xybrian society being fairly strict, including arranged marriages, and therefore Trip not going for an arranged marriage, as well as even thinking of liking Katie, is a long leap for him.

"Moving On" is the first story in a series called, of course, Moving On. It's Wes, post-series, trying to deal with losing Jen. In the process, he meets a girl that looks just like Jen.

It was, of course, a standalone. And then it spawned. A lot. I'm not so sure about how well I did with this story, but it's a nice romance for Wes.

This story is archived in two parts. Part 2 will post tomorrow.

In the Vereco universe, Trip tries to get Wes and Jen together with a little help from Eric.

Vereco was a serial where I tried to explain why Wes could activate Alex's morpher. I think I've come up with the most out there explanation - that Wes was a clone of Alex, hidden in our general time to hide evidence against his rogue "creator".

This story has little to do with the advancement of the Vereco storyline and more to do with putting Wes and Jen together. There are some references to the Vereco storyline in there, but not too many. Of all the Vereco stories, with exception of maybe the first. this one stands alone pretty well.

(And can you spot the Highlander: The Raven reference?)
