"Wherein, Misunderstandings" is the last fic in the "Building Family" storyline (cowritten with TPTigger). It takes place post-series, where Cam finally gets to meet up with his girlfriend Trini and her overprotective friend.

We'd introduced Cam's irrational fear of Trini breaking up on him earlier, and in this episode, that fear comes back. Of course, Cam has some explaining to do, but Trini and friend can certainly put the pieces together.

Can you spot the point in there where we lost track of where everybody was? We tried to make it smooth, but I can still spot the glitch.

"Seeing The Obvious" takes place pre-series, and features Cam and Sensei. It's rather short, about how Sensei is beginning to realize that Cam will someday be the person who came through time and got the Samurai Amulet.

Trivia: Cam's computer is a Mac Powerbook Duo.

One of my earliest Ninja Storm fics, maybe my first one. I wrote a second fic that's called "Hole In The Heart", and they're both pretty much dealing with "Thunder Strangers" part 3. I can't decide if I was liked Blake or not in this fic.

This one's intensely personal. I'm not sure it's really fanfic, or at times, I have Dustin IC.

I was having a discussion with Chris Funaro one day about peoples' perception of mood disorders/mental illnesses, and how hard it was to explain what it felt like to have a mood disorder. I idly suggested a fanfic, and he suggested using Dustin. Why? Because it's so easy for a depressed person to hide behind a smile and a laugh, and Dustin fit. The choice of second person singular was to put the reader in Dustin's shoes... well, boots.

"Catch My Fall" is part of the "Building Family" series, cowritten with Tptigger. It happens during/after the episode "Brothers In Arms". (Needless to say, spoilers for that episode.)

All of "Building Family" focuses on the relationship between Hunter, Blake, and Cam, particularly as brothers. It was written to answer the question of where Hunter and Blake lived, and kind of snowballed. "Catch My Fall" is very much brother-focused, which is not too surprising given that "Brothers in Arms" was rather Hunter-focused. A lot of the fic focuses on the motives of the three brothers during the episode as they deal with it.

Not surprisingly, since this is the two of us, there's the standard Tptigger and Estirose stuff. Blake and Hunter go for Tofutti Cuties, and Cam goes to play an Intellivision title (Snafu) on his Powerbook.

"Wallflowers" is a story I wrote with Beth (tptigger). I don't remember much about the genesis of the fic, but I can go through and recognize certain elements as mine, as well as some continuing in-jokes.

One way you can recognize a Tptigger and Estirose Ninja Storm fic is that Cam has a Mac. Seriously. We're both Mac users and proud of it. Cam usually has a betta, too.

Other bits of trivia:
* The user group's meeting place was patterned after where the Pasadena (California) Mac User Group used to meet. And they did have a distributed computing demonstration once as well.
* Dustin makes reference to Ellen Brand's "Personality Conflicts" series (though it's apparently a comic in his universe).
* Rod LaRock was named after Rod La Rocque (or La Roque) was a silent movie actor who played The Shadow. Apparently the Rangers didn't have a high opinion of his acting....
* Erin, who appears again in some of Starhawk's stories (or at least one, I forget) somehow ended up as a biracial adoptee. I'm not sure of the reasoning, but I like the character.
* A Kanga is a G3 Mac Powerbook. It's the oldest of the G3 Powerbook models, and has more in common with previous Powerbooks than the rest of the G3 line.

This is the second of two non-English language fanfics I've written so far, and it's actually a WIP. It's also in Esperanto, which almost nobody on my Estirose FList even speaks/reads.

Maybe I should say fortunately, because it reads like it was written by a ten year old.

This is a Blake/Tori piece, or would be if/when I ever finish it. The plot's fairly simple - Blake and Tori are on the beach, Lothor sends down Zurgane, Kelzaks, and a monster. The monster causes Tori to disappear, and that's where the part ended.

"Ghetto Wear" came about because I wanted to write a fic from the POV of someone other than the Rangers (or for that matter, any of the regulars). Yes, it has an OC, and yes, there is an OC dating a regular, but not all is as it seems. The OC in this story is totally clueless and I love her for that.

The title refers, of course, to CyberCam's choice of clothing.
