"I don't know what to give him," Kimiko said, thinking out loud. "The traditional feeding is out...."

Couples traditionally gave each other feedings each year for Valentine's and White Day. On Valentine's day, the woman hunted for the man; A month later, the man did the same for the woman.

"No, it's not," her King and sister-in-law said, coming up to stand beside her. "Wataru is becoming more and more dependent on Life Energy; a little extra energy is not going to hurt him."

Kimiko remembered what the other version of her sister-in-law had said about Wataru and feedings and hoped that was so, but she didn't know it would be for a certainty. "I hope so," she said.

"Don't worry so much," the King said, smiling and putting her hand on Kimiko's shoulder. "He'll be fine. So will you. I have confidence in both of you."

Kimiko only wished she was as confident as the King....
