Title: Temporary Glitchy Thing
Author: Estirose
Fandom: Power Rangers Dino Thunder
Character: Trent Fernandez
Table/Prompt: Directions/Deserted
Rating: 8+
Summary: Trent could have used a bit more sleep, a little less glitch.
Looking at the deserted car park, Trent wondered where the monster was. Hayley had called for him to go there, to be joined shortly by the others. He yawned. He really hadn't wanted to be anywhere at six o'clock in the morning on a Saturday, but Mesogog didn't care. His father might have, though more about how much Trent was sleeping in.
"Hayley," he said, tapping his bracelet, "Are you sure about that monster?" He was still not seeing anything.
"Well, it *was* there, not that long ago," Hayley said, sounding puzzled. "Are you seeing anything?"
"Zilch," Trent said. "Which doesn't say much, but...."
"I know," Hayley said. "It may have been a glitch in the system. And the others are on their way, too. Why don't you sit tight, and we'll figure it out?"
"Okay," Trent said. "And if we can't?"
"If it is a monster, it'll show up again and we'll get it," Hayley reassured him. "If it's a glitch, well...."
"I could have done with more sleep," Trent grumbled. More sleep would have done him good.
Yawning, he swore that he'd get more sleep next time.
