Richie Ryan knew he had made a wrong turn. He swore, knowing that Mac and Tessa were waiting for him at the barge.

Suddenly, someone was there who he swore hadn't been there before. "Sorry," he said, glad that he was walking today. Otherwise, there would be hell to pay. "Are you okay?"

"I will be," she said, looking like she was just as lost. Lost British tourist, old enough to be his mom if he knew who she was. "Thank you."

"You're welcome," he replied, remembering his manners. She smiled.

When he looked again, she was gone.
