Power Rangers Dino Thunder: College While Fighting (Drabble123, Trent Fernandez, Rated 8+)
Title: College While Fighting
Author: Estirose
Fandom: Power Rangers Dino Thunder
Table/Prompt: Directions #7, "West"
Rating: 8+
Summary: Trent and Kira discuss classes, fighting, and college prep.
"I've heard 'Go West Young Man'" more times than I want to hear it this week," Trent Fernandez groaned as he flopped down on the Cyberspace's couch. "I mean, the slogan's from the 19th century, and it's the 21st. There is no more west to go to."
"Well, it was a century and a half ago," Kira said, flopping down beside him. "And it can't be any worse than Mesogog."
"True," Trent said. "And I suppose American History is important, I'm just really tired."
"Well, Dr. O would scream bloody murder if we weren't looking at colleges while fighting," Kira said, grinning.
"Not both at the same time, I hope," Trent replied. "Kind of hard to multitask in battle." He had an image of pulling up college websites via his visor while fighting. Hayley could probably make it happen, too.
"Yeah, just slightly," Kira said, laughing. "Well, that kind of multitasking, anyway. He is kinda conscious about it."
"So's Hayley," Trent said, "And so's my Dad. He wants me to go to an Ivy League school."
"So not you," Kira said, nudging him. "Can you think of anybody less unlikely?"
"Nope."
