Title: Computer Information Service
Author: Estirose
Universe: Boxed In
Characters: The Executioner (OC), The Watcher (OC)
Prompt: Computer
Note: Takes place prior to "Boxed In".
"So, this computer-based service will help me track my prey a little more easily?" the Executioner asked, staring at what was up on the Watcher's screen.
"That's the intent," the Watcher said, leaning back in her chair. "Face it, you don't have an apprentice yet, and this will serve at least as another set of eyes."
"Well, I can't find a Fandiri that knows how to hunt," the Executioner told her, shrugging as if it didn't matter. "But I do have a computer, and an internet connection. I'll look into this thing. It does sound useful for my job."
She gave him a brief smile. "I thought it would." He wasn't adverse to technology, she knew, and given his lack of interest in finding an apprentice, at least he would have some tools. Maybe give him a few years, and he'd find an apprentice too.
The Watcher, like the council, could only hope so.
